We carried out our Geography fieldwork in the local area.

We used a map of the school and the surrounding area of Summerseat to plan a route to the River Irwell. As we walked towards the river we used the iPads to take photographs of the human and physical features we could see around us.

When we arrived at the river we looked over the bridge that had been rebuilt when the devastating flood took away the old one, we drew a sketch of the river path and its banks.
