Class 3 spent their Maths lesson investigating fractions. We have been looking at tenths and have been using our maths blocks to make different tenths amounts, learning how to write this as a fraction. To finish our lesson we did a skittles investigation. Everyone was given ten skittles and had to be able to figure out what fraction of each colour they had. Some of us challenged ourselves to write the equivalent fractions.
