		<title><![CDATA[Summerseat Methodist Primary  Album Feed - Exploring the themes of letters]]></title>

		<description><![CDATA[As we continue our study of&nbsp;fairy tales and our focus on the character of the wolf, this week, we have been learning about letter writing. We enjoyed the book Dragon Post where we met Alex who writes to lots of different people for advice about how to care for the dragon that he has found. In groups, we studied each letter and discussed the type of letter it was and the purpose of writing including any advice given by the writer. We also discussed whether the letter was formal and informal and looked for evidence to prove each part of our discussion. As the week has continued, we have read Little Red Reading Hood, where we met a wolf who has changed his ways after discovering a love of reading. To end our week, we have written letters in the role of the wolf to apologise to Little Red Reading Hood for trying to eat her.&nbsp;
