Dinosaur eggs

The dinosaurs from our books have been coming to life at night in the classroom.  Today they left us their eggs to look after.  We described the eggs as gloopy, wet and cold.  We then used our information books to look at the type of nests dinosaurs created for their eggs.  We used sand, sticks, hay and leaves to create a comfortable nest.  We used the magnifying glasses to look closely and observed what happened to the eggs over time.  Finally...the eggs hatched and we had tiny baby dinosaurs to look after.
